1. Introduction, Terms & Conditions

FlowGo (“FlowGo, “The company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) sells Electric Vehicle chargers (the “Product”) available online through merchants and www.getflowgo.com (collectively defined as the “Website”). The Product is designed for home and personal use with hardware, software, and an online service for the intelligent control of charging functions (the “Service”). The Service is accessible locally and remotely through Wi-Fi and a mobile application (the “App”). FlowGo is committed to protecting the privacy of our Website visitors, Product customers, and users of our Service (collectively defined as the “Customer,” “you,” or “your”). This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) was written to describe the kind of data collected, how data is used, and how we protect Customer data.

This Policy applies to your use of Flowgo’s Website, Product, Service, and App, and to any additional FlowGo resource or publication that includes a link to this Policy. Please read this Policy carefully to understand how Customer information is handled. If you do not agree to this Policy, please do not access or use FlowGo’s Website, Product, Service, or App.

2. Types of Data we Collect and How We Use It

We collect Customer data through your use of our Website, Product, Service, or App. We also obtain data when you create an account (the “Account”), or opt-in to our marketing through e-mail, social platforms, or join our loyalty program (collectively defined as “Marketing”). We will use your data for, and by customer service for communicating, troubleshooting, addressing fraud/unauthorized access, and resolving warranty claims (collectively defined as “Support”). Information may also be gathered at your direction or with your consent, such as when you use our social media platforms or post a review or comment. We keep your data securely stored from the time it is provided to us until the day you terminate or delete your Account.

2.1 Identifiers

Identifiers (such as name, mailing address, email address, phone number, social media, purchases, and vehicle information) are collected for the purposes of using our Website, providing the Product, Service, App, and to manage Account, Marketing, and Support.

2.2 Order Information

Order information includes commercial (such as purchase history, delivery information, transaction data), financial (payment type, last four digits of your credit card) and preferences. Order information is collected on our Website to provide the Product, Service, App, Account, and to enable Support. Phone calls may be recorded for training and quality assurance.

2.3 Usage Information

Information collected automatically (such as IP address, location, unique device identifier, advertising, app identifiers, browsing history, cookies, screen recording, or other technology data) is collected on our Website, Product, Service, App, Account, to enable Marketing and Support.

We may share aggregate or anonymous information collected about our Website, Product, Service, App, Account, Support, and Marketing, as long as the information does not identify any specific individual(s). We will seek assurances from any buyer that your personal information will be used, shared, maintained, and disclosed consistent with the terms of this Policy. FlowGo uses cookies and similar technologies, including web beacons, embedded scripts, and e-tags (together referred to as “Cookie” or “Cookies”) for website functions, performance and analytics, preferences, advertising and targeting. A Cookie is a small data file placed on your computer or mobile device by your web browser. Session Cookies are temporary cookies that help us manage your shopping experience in real-time, like remembering the items in your cart. Persistent Cookies store information about your website visits, recognize you, track user patterns, analyze behavior, and display your preferences to optimize website functionality and improve the user experience. FlowGo has implemented and will maintain reasonable and appropriate administrative, physical, and technical security safeguards under our control. While we take precautions to reasonably anticipate and protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Customer information, no Website or Internet transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, hacking, data loss, or other breaches will never occur, and any transmission is at your own risk. The Customer is responsible to maintain their login, password, and financial information securely, update passwords periodically, and log out of your Account after use. FlowGo cannot be held responsible for unauthorized access to your Product, Service, App, or Account.

5. Your Choices and Options

You may access, correct, or update the Customer information we have on file. Customers can request the deletion of their personal data or opt-out in compliance with regulations. You may unsubscribe from Marketing emails by following the directions in those communications. Please note that when you opt out of Marketing, you may still receive communications regarding your use of the Product, Service, App, Account, and Support. Regional, Local and State laws may grant you additional rights. If you would like to exercise any of these rights, please submit a written request by contacting us directly at support@getflowgo.com. You may be required to verify your identity before we fulfill your request. You can also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf by submitting a signed, written authorization.

6. Do Not Track Settings

Under California law, online service providers must say in their privacy policies how they respond to “do not track” settings that users can set in their browser software. Currently, we do not respond to browser-initiated Do Not Track signals as there is no established industry standard, implementation, or solution. FlowGo will consider amendments to this policy.

7. Children’s Privacy

Our Website, Products, Services, and App are intended for Customers eligible and licensed to drive. In the United States, this typically means individuals over the age of 16. FlowGo does not knowingly collect any information from anyone under the age of 16. If you are less than 18, we request that you only use our Website, Products, Services, and App with the permission and supervision of your parent or guardian. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected “personal information” (as defined by the United States Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act) from children, we will take reasonable steps to delete it as soon as possible, as required by applicable law.

8. Changes to our Privacy Policy

FlowGo may change this Policy to reflect changes in the law, the way we use Cookies and tracking technology, our information practices, or features of our Products, Services, App, Account and Support. We will make changes by posting a revised copy of this policy to our Website and indicate the date of the most recent update. Your continued use of our Website, Products, Services, Account, Support, or App after a revised version of this policy appears on the Website will confirm that you have read, understood, and approve of the latest version of this Policy.
